SV BONOBO has been located at the entrance to the Rio Dulce River without wind and no engine. They are attempting to arrange a tow and are on VHF CH 16. No further Maritime Mobile Service Broadcast is needed at this time.

A non emergency Boat Watch has been issued for SV BONOBO on passage from Isla Mujeres Mexico to the Rio Dulce, Guatemala. It is a 36 foot white metal sloop with two persons on board, Reinhard Berroth, 62 years of age and Christina Moll, 60 years of age. The vessel left Cozumel on August 26, 2020 and was expected in the Rio Dulce on September 2, 2020. The vessel is equipped with a Single Side Band Radio. They experienced an overheating engine and possible storm problems.
