Cancel Bolo – Two sailors were rescued from SV Walrus on January 28, 2025 by USCG helicopter. The SV was taking on water and is believed to have sunk. Thank you to RCC Norfolk and all who assisted to bring these sailors safely to shore.

As of 8 AM this morning, January 28, 2025, a C-130 with a pump is on scene and a helicopter is on the way. A distress signal was received about 3 hours ago.
Keep a sharp lookout, assist if possible and provide any sightings to RCC Norfolk at 757-398-6231.
