SV MIGRATION departed Pasito Blanco Gran Canaria on April 7, 2024, heading to the Saloum Delta National Park.
On board is a solo captain, Andreas Christou, age 71, a British Cypriot.
SV MIGRATION is a U. S. Flagged Nautor Swan 40, with a Single Sideband Radio, VHF, Cellular phone, life raft, Call Sign WD12141and MMSI number 367675150 .
The family believes it is possible the captain may have sailed towards the Caribbean with favorable trade winds. The family reports that according to Marine Traffic his last known position was lat 6.13552 lon -30.7101”.
