BOLO for “Sailing Vessel AMEO” dismasted off the SE coast of the Dominican Republic. This Czech flagged 50 foot sloop is 71 NM SSE of Isla Saona with 4 persons on board.
The vessel was dismasted at 17-00.83N and 068-02.13W.
The boat is making way toward Isla Saona in rough conditions. They have a Garmin In Reach. USCG San Juan is actively monitoring the situation as well as a US Navy Ship.
