UPDATE 1445 HRS, 01 NOV 2020:

The USCG Sector Charleston, SC notified Boatwatch.Org the F/V LILA LEE has been located on the beach North of Georgetown, SC.

The owner is working with a commercial towing company to tow the boat off the beach to a location where it can be inspected for damage.

The owner of the vessel thanked the USCG, Boatwatch.Org, and all those who looked for his stolen vessel. It’s nice to see a good outcome.

BOLO FOR STOLEN SHRIMP BOAT FROM The Marlin Quay Marina, Murrells Inlet, SC on early Saturday morning, 31 OCT 2020.

The vessel is 30′ LOA, fiberglass over wood, built in 1980, and is powered by a Detroit 671 diesel engine. The vessel’s name Lila Lee has definitely been removed from the side and back of the boat it’s going to be a white hull, black trim, with a blue bottom, dark wood cabin doors.

Anyone spotting this boat should immediately contact the USCG or any law enforcement agency.

BOLO FOR STOLEN SHRIMP BOAT FROM The Marlin Quay Marina, Murrells Inlet, SC on early Saturday morning, 31 OCT 2020.

Stolen shrimp boat named Lila Lee could possibly headed to Pamplico sound or somewhere on the intercoastal waterway in between Murrells inlet SC to Morehead NC anyone that has North Carolina friends if you know someone on the coast or the waterway please tell them to be on the lookout .

The name has definitely been removed from the side and back of the boat it’s going to be a white hull, black trim, with a blue bottom, dark wood cabin doors.

The vessel is 30′ LOA, fiberglass over wood, built in 1980, and is powered by a Detroit 671 diesel engine. There is no AIS or EPIRB on the vessel.
