UPDATE December 8, 2024 – RCC Norfolk advises that the S/V WANDERER has been located and is safe and still in route to Bermuda with an 8 hour ETA. SV experienced problems with communications. Please cancel the BOLO and thank you for your assistance.

A BOLO has been issued for SV Wanderer on passage from Norfolk on November 3, 2024 VA to Bermuda. On board are two persons, Earl Libby – age 69, nationality USA
Joan Etzweiler – approximate age 75, nationality USA.

SV Wanderer is a Shannon, 52 ft, Ketch, Center Cockpit.

The Captain was planning to send position updates and emails twice a day.
The float plan contact has not received Winlink Single Sideband Email or position updated since 8pm Dec 4th. The last communication indicated a Storm front had arrived at 1400 as forecast.
