SSCA HF Radio Service, KPK, received a report from Kim White, Caribbean Safety & Security Net of SV Antares sinking in Las Aves Venezuela. The captain, David Roblino was rescued. SV Antares is a 41 foot Bristol sailing vessel.
Kim White relayed this information from the Bonaire Coast Guard on the March 23, 2022 morning SSCA HF Radio Service KPK net. Kim White on her SV in the ABC’s is a dedicated relay station for KPK every morning. KPK then advised the Iridium Satellite phone company’s, Geos World-Wide Rescue Coordination Center of their customer’s distress situation.
