USCG San Juan requests information concerning drifting MV
On Tuesday, 14 APR 26 at 2035Z, RSCSJN received a report from a R/S sailing North of Culebra Island, PR stating that they saw a light blue 20-30 foot sports vessel capsized with 2 150 HP engines.
R/S took a video of the vessel and sent to RSCSJN, confirming the report.(Note: Video is on Boat Watch Facebook Group)
BFU USVI was sent to the location reported by the reporting source and located the unmanned adrift capsized vessel confirming the description of the vessel, that the 02 OBE were Mercury, and that there is some growth on the underside of the vessel. Name of the vessel and Hull Identification Number (HIN) were not apparent.
