A BOLO has been issued by RCC Norfolk for overdue and unreported, SV ARCADIA overdue on a passage from the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia to St. Martin.

SV ARCADIA is a 1971 Murray Stevens, Canadian flagged 60 foot wood schooner, single diesel and YW#1408-2964852. The vessel has a life raft (no description), an EPIRB (possibly two) and a radio. No activation for the EPRIBs have been received.

The vessel has two known individuals aboard (Carolyn Bailey -owner/captain [very experienced/seasoned] and a Michael Grey – mechanic with sailing experience.

The vessel left Chesapeake Bay Virginia on or about December 5, 2024 with a planned arrival of December 17 in Saint-Martin.  The vessel last communicated with a good friend on December 7.

Anyone with further information or sightings, assist if possible and report to RCC Norfolk or your nearest Coast Guard.
