UPDATE: RCC Miami advised at 4 PM Eastern that MV Twin Spirit has been assisted by the Royal Bahamian Defense Force and was successfully towed into Elizabeth Harbor Georgetown, Bahamas. Many thanks to all who helped with this effort, especially USCG and the Bahamian Defense Force.

BOLO MV Twin Spirit is disabled in the Bahamas. 

A distress signal was received at 23-46.70N 075-31.30W on April 25, 2024.  On April 26, 2024, “at 0409 Local time (0009Z) the last known position was 23-45.4N 075-22.4W, 5NM from the Northern Tip of Long Island, currently drifting. “

MV Twin Spirit is a 60 ft catamaran that has lost power and is disabled. There are three persons on board.

On April 25, 2024, USCG dropped a VHF radio to the vessel to communicate. The Royal Bahamian Defense Force has been notified and is possibly enroute to the MV.

Keep a sharp lookout, assist if possible and notify nearest Coast Guard or RCC Miami.
